8-17-08 Small Update!
last modified: Sunday, August 17, 2008 (5:56:02 PM CST)
hi friends,
i realize i haven't been very active in the cel community recently, though i still keep my eye open for the next purchase. life has certainly gotten in the way of hobbies, as i have been hard at work making my own contributions to the world of animation. recently, i've been curating, developing my own show ideas, and generally keeping myself busy with things - all of which i talk about to an extent at
http://hihicaro.blogspot.com. i hope you enjoy the small update. i am especially excited to add a new background to "sea prince and the fire child"... the first i've seen in about 5 years.

Add Comment (1 available)6-15-08 How am I loading?
last modified: Sunday, June 15, 2008 (10:53:39 PM CST)
hi everyone,
first of all, thank you to everyone who sent me open house feedbacks. for the most part, the feedbacks were all incredibly thoughtful and the new gallery design is a result of the great comments i received. i am still tweaking things here and there, mainly the image and thumbnail designs. i have a nice hefty update on the way as well.
now that i am at the half-way point, i wanted to stop and take a minute to ask how the gallery is loading for everyone? i received a couple messages about slow loading time, but i don't know if it is just 1 or 2 people experiencing this or a general problem. i realize my design is very image heavy, but it isn't much more than some other galleries here. i'd appreciate a comment from any visitors that would like to chime in.
thanks for the help!

Add Comment (4 available)4-11-08 New Design!
last modified: Friday, April 11, 2008 (10:16:57 PM CST)
hi open-house visitors,
i redesigned my gallery, but i am not too sure how i feel about it- mainly i am a little undecided about the text colors. please let me know what your opinions are. my new design is based on the recent open-house feedbacks that i have received. i will also be adding new series descriptions and maybe a new thumbnail design. i'm still on the fence about the thumbnails. also, my gallery seems a little long? ideally, i wanted the design to fit within the browser and avoid the scroll bar. i couldn't figure out how to keep the borders from tiling. any help on that would be greatly appreciated.
thank you to those of you who have already sent in some great suggestions!
