Saban's Adventures of The Little Mermaid is based on the popular Hans Christian Anderson tale, released by Saban Entertainment in 1991. The plot follows lonely Marina, who falls in love with Prince Justin, but is fooled by the evil seawitch and never remains human. Instead, Marina can only meet her prince for an hour each day, thanks to a magic potion created by the royal magician. Unfortunately, Disney bought it off American television after only 13 episodes, however all 26 episodes aired in Japan. It isn't well animated, but the characters are original and wonderful to watch.
