"What have I done? It's too late now... too late... No, don't die! Syrius, take me with you!"
A newly-transformed Queen Malta leans over Syrius' body, after he is burned by the sun's hot rays. Malta then carries her prince back to the water where she sacrifices herself in the waves, so that they will never part again. Queen Malta's pained expression here is a strong contrast to her former bubbly personality. The tears effect is on a separate layer.
I was beyond excited to add this cel into my collection. Cels from this film are increasingly harder to find over the years, so I fight hard when I see a nice one.
