It has been several years since I first started collecting animation cels and production artwork as a highschool student. You can say I was a very spoiled child and didn't have your average allowance. Since creating my gallery here on Rubberslug, I have met many wonderful unicorn fans. It's so good to know that I am not the only girl who refuses to outgrow her 80s unicorn obsession. The Last Unicorn is mainly to blame. It's a beautiful film, and I don't think I've met someone who hasn't been affected by it in some way. As soon as I could afford it, I looked into collecting the cels. They are like little pieces of heaven. In 2005, I graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design and now work in the animation industry.
